Hi, I'm Melissa and this is my website.

I currently reside in Cincinnati, OH with my three amazing kids; our two Siberian Huskies; two cats; and a hamster. I make my monetary living working in the technology field for a large local company.

I started writing my first blog about 5 years ago on blogger. I have always enjoyed recreational writing and have kept written journals throughout my life, so blogging seemed like a great fit and a less hand-cramping way to write. I have been talking for like 3 of those 5 years of moving my blog to it's own domain and thanks to my good friend, Scott, I finally did it. I don't really have any expectations for this site...I guess I'm just going to try things, take some risks, and see how it turns out.

I am passionate about my family, politics, and music. I have an opinion on pretty much everything and I'm not afraid to tell you what it is. I'm extremely loyal, hardheaded, independent, smart, witty, quick-tempered, loving, restless, sentimental and broken. I am a lot of fun to be around once you get around my sparring intellect and shirts which showcase my cleavage. I tend to overuse commas but I really prefer the semi colon. I like people who are witty, use correct grammar and spelling, can laugh at themselves and like beer.

When I'm not busy playing taxi for my kids and funding their social lives, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, seeing live music, being outside, throwing darts, drinking beer, seeing movies, writing and getting a good night's sleep.
